Adjustment of headlights

For traffic safety correct adjustment of headlights has great value. Exact adjustment of headlights is possible only with application of the special device. Therefore here only it is shown, where it is possible to regulate headlights, and what conditions should be executed for correct adjustment.

1 Pressure of air in tyres should correspond to the established value.
2 not Loaded car should have on a place of the driver cargo in weight of 75 kg.
3 Fill a fuel tank at least on 90 %.
4 Establish the car on an equal platform.
5 Some times strongly press through a forward part of the car that the suspension bracket has accepted the working position.
6 Establish a regulator of range of light on “0”.

At cars with the xenon lamps of a passing light (the additional equipment) after inclusion of light wait not less than 30 with that automatic adjustment of range of light was adjusted.


7 Headlights are authorised to be regulated only on a passing light. The inclination of a beam of light for normal headlights makes 10 sm on 10 m of length.

8 Adjust headlights by rotation of adjusting screws-1 and-or

On an illustration the left headlight is shown, at the right headlight adjusting screws are located mirror. At rotation of the adjusting screw the beam of light moves always on a vertical and a horizontal. The unidirectional arrangement of adjusting screws is impossible.

The inclination of a beam of light for an antifog headlight makes 20 sm on 10 m of length.
