Check of the gauge of a stock of fuel

In the course of decrease in level of fuel in a tank the float in the stock gauge falls also. Thus resistance of the gauge having sliding contact simultaneously decreases. The microprocessor in the block of the panel of devices proceeding from resistance of the gauge and other data calculates fuel level in a tank and deduces the data on the panel of devices. Both gauges are checked equally.

The fuel pump in the right gauge of a stock can be checked only on HUNDRED.

CHECK

1 Remove the gauge.
2 Attach an ohmmeter to plugs of the tip of the gauge of a stock.
3 Hold the gauge in working position. Thus the float is below and the indicator on the panel shows “a fuel Reserve”. Demanded value of resistance: 70 2 Ohm.
4 Turn the gauge on a corner 180 (put it on a head), thus the float is above. The indicator on the panel shows "full".

Demanded value:
The right gauge 402 6 Ohm
The left gauge 362 6 Ohm
5 If necessary replace in the complete set the damaged gauge of a stock.

Gauges are delivered only in the complete set, separate details cannot be replaced.
