In 4-cylinder turbodiesel М47 two camshafts with the top arrangement have a chain drive and influence valves through roller коромысло. The second chain actuates the fuel pump of a high pressure. A drive of valves – roller. The diesel engine has a turbo-supercharging with changeable geometry of the turbine (VTG) and cooling наддуваемого air.
