Removal and installation of the vacuum pump

Model 320d
As at the diesel engine the vacuum at всасывании air is absent, the vacuum for the brake amplifier is created by the vacuum pump. The vacuum pump is fixed ahead at a head of cylinders and connected with a camshaft of final valves шлицевым connection.

 REMOVAL

1 Remove a system radiator recycling the fulfilled gases.
2 Remove a vacuum hose from a branch pipe of the vacuum pump, for what ослабьте a collar.

3 Turn out bolts-2 and-3 and remove the vacuum pump.


 INSTALLATION

1 Replace a sealing ring on the vacuum pump.
2 Insert the vacuum pump with a lead into a camshaft groove.
3 As a carving of bolts-2 should be condensed, the carving of new bolts has a covering. After everyone отворачивания it is necessary or to replace or clear and cover a bolt with usual hermetic, for example, “Drei Bond 1209” or “Loctite Ultra Black”. Tighten bolts-2 and-3 moment 20 Н•м.
4 Establish a system radiator recycling, address to Section Removal and installation of the inlet pipeline.
