Removal and installation of the fuel filter

Removal of the fuel filter for the diesel engine is described in Section Check of fuel system, replacement of the fuel filter. Operation of diesel model in the conditions of winter.


 REMOVAL

Operation of lifting and car installation on supports is connected with danger! Therefore before operation carrying out familiarise with Razdelom Poddomkrachivanie and towage

1 Lift and establish the car on supports.

- Do not use near to a workplace open fire, do not smoke and do not hold any strongly разогретых subjects. There is a danger of accident! Keep in readiness the fire extinguisher.
- Watch normal ventilation of a workplace. Fuel steams are poisonous.
- The fuel system is under pressure. At opening of system fuel can be pulled out under pressure. Collect fuel a rag. Use goggles.


2 Substitute under the fuel filter the corresponding capacity-4 to collect following fuel. The fuel filter is at height of beam Manual transmission on the car bottom.

3 Press fuel hoses in a point-1 by means of corresponding clips, for example, HAZET 4590.
4 Enclose a thick rag and open collars-2.
5 Cautiously disconnect both hoses at the filter.
6 Turn away the screw at the holder, remove the filter and merge fuel in capacity.
7 Slowly open clips and collect following fuel.
8 Disconnect collars-5 and remove hoses from fuel pipelines. It is necessary to replace them.



 INSTALLATION

9 Establish the new fuel filter so that the arrow on the filter showed in a direction of a current of fuel from a tank to the engine.
10 Fix the filter on the holder.
11 Attach new hoses and fix their new collars.
12 Press a starter until the engine will not be started. Thus the fuel filter should be filled.
13 Pass on the car and check up tightness шланговых connections.
