Removal and installation of injectors

Fuel distributive highway


1 — a vacuum hose of a regulator of pressure of fuel 2 — a fuel branch pipe	3 — a fastening point 4 — a safety lock

New injectors have preservation. Through 5 mines of work they owing to passing fuel are released from preservation. After removal from the engine injectors should not be stored long owing to danger of their corrosion.

REMOVAL

1 Remove воздухосборную a box, address to Section Removal and installation of a box of an air inlet.

Models 316i, 318i

2 Remove the top part of the inlet pipeline, address to Section Removal and installation of the inlet pipeline.

The fuel system is under pressure! Before отворачиванием шлангового connections put on it a thick rag. After that cautiously remove pressure in a hose. There is a danger of a fire, do not smoke.

3 Clear fuel lines. Then turn away submitting and returnable pipelines.

4 Turn out 2 bolts of fastening of a fuel distributive highway.

Models 320i, 323i, 328i

5 Remove the top cover of the engine.

6 Turn away screws of fastening-1 and remove штекерную a lath upwards from injectors.

2 – the tip of coils of ignition.

7 Turn out fastening screws (arrows on an illustration) a fuel distributive highway. Instructions: On an illustration the engine cover is not shown.

8 Rasstykujte a socket of gauges of oxygen (2 arrows on the right).

Tips are marked, that them not to mix at assemblage.

9 Remove штекерную a lath of injectors and put aside.

The fuel system is under pressure! Before отворачиванием шлангового connections put on it a thick rag. After that cautiously remove pressure in a hose. There is a danger of a fire, do not smoke.

10 Clear fuel pipelines a cold cleaner. Then, at first disconnect submitting топливопровод-1 (from the filter), and then a returnable hose-2 on a fuel distributive highway, for what ослабьте collars. After отворачивания it is necessary to replace collars with the new.

Mark hoses not to mix them at assemblage (address to an illustration).

11 At some models fuel hoses are fixed by means of lock скоб. For removal compress скобы nippers HAZET № 4501-1 or the similar tool (arrows on an illustration).

Check up a sealing ring before installation. In the presence of damages replace.

12 Turn out fastening bolts (arrows on an illustration) a fuel distributive highway.

13 Disconnect a vacuum hose-1 at a regulator of pressure of fuel.
14 Take out a fuel distributive highway complete with injectors upwards from a head of cylinders. Injectors are simply inserted and can easily be taken out.
15 Remove a safety lock and take out an injector.

INSTALLATION

Replace the deformed sealing rings-1, thus remember position of rings-2. Rings-1 before installation grease with vaseline or трансмиссионным oil. Do not apply some impellent oil, it negatively influences rubber.

16 Insert injectors into a fuel distributive highway and fix скобами.

17 In regular intervals press a fuel distributive highway with injectors into a head of cylinders.
18 Fix a fuel distributive highway on a head of cylinders.
19 Fix hoses of return and fuel giving on a distributive highway. Establish new collars and sealing rings, address to subsection "Removal".
20 Establish штекерную a lath for injectors and fix it.
21 Connect to a regulator of pressure of fuel a vacuum hose.
22 Models 316i, 318i: Establish the top part of the inlet pipeline, address to Section Removal and installation of the inlet pipeline.
23 Models 320i, 323i, 328i: Join штекерные connections of gauges of oxygen and fix them. Fix an engine cover.
